Description

Does your child write one paragraph to the other children’s three pages?

Do your students procrastinate until they have run out of time?

Does your child say he ‘can’t write’? Does she say she ‘doesn’t want to write’?

Teaching Creative Writing to Reluctant Writers is a program to encourage and inspire reluctant students from year five to year twelve, or for gifted students in year four.

The program returns to the oral traditions of storytelling and taps into your student’s imagination. It combines an enjoyable teaching method with an easy structure for expressing creative ideas. It desensitises phobic children with learning difficulties to enable them to produce a lengthy written response, and enables year twelve students to write a good creative story under exam pressure.

It is a valuable resource for teachers, speech pathologists, tutors and parents who want to support, teach and motivate reluctant writers.
